At ResumeAI, we strive to ensure a smooth and valuable experience for all our users. Our services are powered by a credit-based system. By purchasing credits, you agree to the terms outlined in this Refund and Cancellation Policy.

2. Digital Product Purchases

Due to the digital and instantaneous nature of our AI services (such as generating cover letters, optimizing resumes, and conducting ATS analysis), all credit pack purchases are generally considered final and non-refundable once the transaction is completed.

3. System & Technical Failure Refunds

While purchases are non-refundable, we do protect your credits in the event of system errors.

  • Automatic Credit Protection: If our system deducts credits but fails to deliver the requested AI generation due to an API timeout, network error, or internal server error, our system is designed to automatically refund those specific credits back to your account balance.
  • Manual Review: If you believe credits were deducted for a failed generation and were not automatically refunded, please contact our support team within 7 days of the incident with your account details.

4. Exceptions for Full Purchase Refunds

We will only process a full refund to your original payment method under the following exceptional circumstances:

  • Duplicate billing errors caused by our payment processor.
  • Unauthorized transactions proven to be fraudulent.
  • If required by applicable consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction.
